The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on website service the area regularly. The services place produced for intervention experiences a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
